Biochemistry department was established in 2017 under the supervision of Ms. Fazeela Mandokhail. Department was started with four years BS and two years M. Sc programs in 2017. Many graduated students of M. Sc and BS are serving in renowned private and government sectors. In 2020 department has started M. Phil degree program. Currently, the Department is offering academic programs in discipline Medical Lab Technology (MLT) for the students at BS level.

The Environmental Sciences Department’s vision is to contribute to sustainable development, stewardship, and ecosystem well-being, focusing on research, education, and outreach to address climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and resource management.
Mission
The mission of the Environmental Sciences Department is to advance the understanding and protection of natural systems through innovative research, education, and community engagement. We are committed to preparing students to address complex environmental challenges by providing a rigorous, interdisciplinary education that blends scientific knowledge with real world solutions. The department’s primary goals are to undertake globally recognized research and provide high standard education in order to develop competent human resources for risk management and decision-making at the national and international levels.
Goals and objectives
The primary goals and objectives of the Environmental Sciences Department are
  • Provide students with interdisciplinary knowledge of ecological, biological, chemical, and physical processes affecting the environment.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research on environmental issues, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and resource management.
  • Promote sustainable practices through the integration of social, economic, and ecological perspectives.
  • Partner with communities to raise awareness and implement strategies for environmental conservation.
  • Equip students with practical skills for careers in environmental management, policy, conservation, and research.
  • Empower women in Balochistan through Environmental education that can significantly contribute to addressing the region’s environmental challenges, promoting sustainable development and societal transformation.
